On February 1, 2003, I became involved in the Space Shuttle Recovery effort. For the next few years my fiction stopped entirely while I worked on a nonfiction book about the recovery effort. Ironically, my novella Flatheads, published by Creative Guy Publishing, came out on the same day the shuttle crashed.
The following had already been accepted for publication, but came out after the shuttle disaster.

Recent Short Stories

Although I’m beginning to get back into the swing of things, I’m quickly discovering that while I still enjoy writing longer works, I have lost most of my desire to write short stories. Still, I’ve managed a couple of successes and I’ve also got a handful of stories out there looking for publishers.
